iPhone 12 is the best selling phone on Q1 2021

The iPhone 12 was the best selling model in the world for the first quarter of 2021 and a 5% share while by a small margin in second place is the iPhone 12 Pro Max where its share is 4%. Also in third place is the iPhone 12 Pro where it holds a 3% stake but on the other hand, within the Top 10 there is not even the iPhone Mini since it did not make similar sales.

Counterpoint Research attributes this success to Apple’s very high demand for 5G devices, coupled with the late 2020 markets, due to the global situation. The remaining places in the top 10 are occupied by Xiaomi and Samsung with their budget devices. In fifth, sixth and eighth place are Redmi 9A, Redmi 9 and Redmi Note 9 respectively.

However, as far as turnover is concerned, things are getting very interesting since despite the fact that the iPhone 12 Pro Max had lower sales rates it managed to generate an impressive 12% of the world’s turnover over the past three days. Also the iPhone 12 made 11% of the turnover while the iPhone 12 Pro slept at lower rates scoring 9%.

Now, if in all this we combine the iPhone 12 mini the iPhone SE and the models of the last year, then Apple collects a staggering 35% of the world’s turnover. But the US company’s direct competitor Samsung with the Galaxy S21 did not perform as the S21 Ultra took fifth place with a 3% share while the Galaxy S21 finished the quarter with 2% of turnover. Also the entire Galaxy S21 series gained a total of 6% for Q1 2021.
