Leaks about the new Galaxy S22 series models continue without breaks after two new battery modules have been registered with the 3C certification authority. The numbers of these battery models have confirmed that they belong to the new Galaxy S22 series.
EB-BS906ABY battery (capacity 4370mAh) with a maximum voltage of 4.45V
EB-BS908ABY battery (capacity 4855mAh) With rated voltage of 3.88V and maximum voltage of 4.45V
According to sources, the first battery model belongs to the Galaxy S22+ 5G and will have the model number EB-BS906ABY, while the second is the battery of the Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G (SM-BS908ABY). The new certification does not currently have the battery unit of the Galaxy S22. The applicant for this certification is Samsung SDI Company Limited.
Previous leaks suggest that the new version of the Galaxy S22 features a 6.01-inch Full-HD+ LTPS AMOLED display. The Galaxy S22+ has a 6.55-inch Full-HD+ LTPS AMOLED display, and the Ultra model has a Quad-HD+ LTPO AMOLED 6.81-inch display.
It is noticed that the sizes of the Galaxy S22 and S22+ will decrease, while the size of the Ultra model will remain the same and all will all have a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Galaxy S22 and S22+ are most likely to have the same camera lenses, with a 1/1.55-inch 50MP main sensor while the optical zoom will be at 3x. On the other hand, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a quad camera with a newer generation 108MP lens with a 3x optical zoom and a 10x periscopic zoom.
A newer generation of Exynos 2200 chipset in collaboration with AMD’s GPU is expected to appear this time in the Galaxy S22 series. The Exynos 2200 version will appear in very few markets, while the Snapdragon version will be available in more regions.
