Xbox series X with more vivid colors and Dolby Vision

A major technical addition to the Xbox Series X/S. As announced by Microsoft, xbox series X/S are now the first consoles to support Dolby Vision technology for more vivid colors.

According to Microsoft, over 100 existing and upcoming Xbox Series X/S games support Dolby Vision from the outset, including Halo Infinite. On the other hand, old games automatically get better image with Dolby Vision on Xbox X/S via Auto HDR technique.

Developers will be able to choose whether to add Dolby Vision technology to the game engine they use or take advantage of the technology embedded in the Xbox developer platform. While games that use Auto HDR don’t actually support Dolby Vision, Microsoft says they’ll play better on compatible TVs.
