Xiaomi watch color 2 supports third-party apps

Together with Xiaomi Civi the Chinese company announced the Xiaomi Watch 2 or Watch Color 2 where it is the successor to the Mi Watch.

The new smartwatch has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 326-ppi density – as does its predecessor’s 1.39-inch screen. Xiaomi’s Watch 2 is available with three different cases, 6 different straps, and has over 200 watch faces.

And this watch runs Xiaomi’s OS, but supports third-party applications, the connection is done via Bluetooth, and recorded 117 different sports.

The Watch Color 2 has GPS, 470mAh battery that gives it up to 30 hours autonomy with the GPS open, while with the GPS closed it reaches 12 days, and with the extended mode it can pass all 24 days.

Beyond that, the Xiaomi Watch 2 records sleep, oxygen in the blood, heartbeat, menstrual cycle, is 5ATM waterproof, is released September 30 in China and later in more markets, and has a starting price of CNY 999 or somewhere at 132 euros.
